ABOUT

IMG_1218_edited.jpg

Alice Brock is a recent graduate from Falmouth University. She is driven by a profound curiosity about the intricate relationship between humans and nature. Alice explores the resilience of nature amidst environments altered by extensive industrialisation and is intrigued by how plants persist and thrive in seemingly hostile conditions. In her ongoing project, she explores how nature interacts with and adapts to the man-made structures of urban landscapes. From the vibrant greenery reclaiming abandoned buildings to the delicate balance of flora and fauna amidst bustling city streets, Alice's photographs document moments where nature triumphs over human intervention. She seeks to inspire a deeper appreciation for the resilience of the natural world and the importance of preserving our environment for future generations. With a blend of technical proficiency, creative vision, and a deep respect for the natural world, Alice's photography serves as a powerful reminder of the interconnectedness of humanity and nature. Through her recent photobook, “Rooted Resilience” she invites viewers to explore the beauty and complexity of the world around them and to join her in advocating for its preservation.
